Movies galore 28.02.2006 | |
Unfortunatelly this time the post is about really bad movies I had to see these days. The list of movies to see are bigger everyday, and sometimes the recommendations were not that good, so:
The 40 Year Old Virgin I'm not sure how come did I get this one, I think someone recomended it to me, some bits were really funny, but overall was really silly.
S1m0ne Ok, this time I did watch this one because was written by Andrew Niccol, who also did Gattaca and The Truman Show which are really good movies, but this one was a real fiasco. I was thinking each minute how come Al Pacino accepted to do this crap?!
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back After that Kevin Smith Bomb of videos around internet I decided to get this one tho after Dogma I decided to don't watch more stuff from this guy. The movie was quite bad, the end was a kind of Orgazmo-wanabe. A shame, because I think Kevin is quite funny, but his movies are usually quite dumb.
Love Actually I wasn't expecting too much of this one, but it ended up being even worse..
In the other hand, I've also watched some good films!
War of the worlds Which I think was a superb show! The moment where all the robots appear was delicious, however when the robots itself showed up, I thought that Spielberd did spent too many time playing Half-Life 2 (you know why I'm saying that ;)) It's a shame the movie had such a bad ending!
Also, does anyone thought about this tune at any time in the movie? ;)
25th Hour Not sure about where did I get the recommendation from but I think this one was one of the best ones I've seen this month. It had some veeery good moments, very recommended!
MirrorMask This one is Dave McKean in motion. Some parts had terrible visual effect integration, and sometimes was overdone, but It left me a good vibe after all. Looking forward for his next one. | | posted by ricardo cabello at 15:11 | | 0 comment written so far |
SORRY! Is not that I don't care about what you have to say, of course I do, but they are speaking louder and I lost my patience :(
